At the Origin of Western Culture, word and music are two entities almost essential. Think of the conception and function of music in the culture of ancient Greece, the first polyphonic schools that flourish in medieval Europe, or madrigals that enliven the Italian Renaissance courts, up to some lyrics of pop music. Power of musical languages or of music that knows how to make every language melodious! Better not to enter such a dark forest! Surely there are texts, poems, prose sometimes even fleeting thoughts, who know how to recall the music in us, that match the harmonies that reside in the soul. "La voce del vento" is inspired by this thought, a collection of romanze for voice and piano on texts by contemporary and non-contemporary authors.
